Turned across a narrow space, they push the walls apart, at least to the eye. Twenty are flat kilims of recycled cotton that lie very flat. The other seven are rustic jute stripe designs, four parts jute to one part cotton, with a coarser surface that feels closer to natural fibre.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAlmost every stripe mixes several colours. Orange and green appear most often, followed by blue and brown. Taupe or beige in the pattern keep things calmer.
