Cream is a little warmer than white and much softer than grey. This square rug fits into a reading corner with an armchair and a floor lamp, and it makes the space feel like a small, private room. Lovely.

Its long polyester pile is machine-woven in China, and the back is cotton. On dark floors the cream gives a bright contrast. In a bedroom it is the soft square where you put your feet first thing in the morning, before the rest of the day begins.

Light shades show footprints. Brush the pile up with your hand and vacuum without the brush.
