Pink has a reputation it does not deserve. Many people think of candyfloss and little girls' rooms. Yet the pink in this range is a soft, slightly muted pastel that looks almost grown-up next to grey or pale wood. Sixteen designs are in stock, fourteen in pink and two in peach.
A pink rug in the bedroom
Pink and grey together, say beside grey bed linen, create a calm and modern mood. Wool feels firmer. It still keeps you warm. The handwoven designs have a fuller pile, plain or patterned, and more in sheep's wool is under wool rug. Peach leans towards apricot. It looks warmer and suits a bedroom with white furniture.
When children play on the floor
Kids who spend half the afternoon down there are more comfortable on deep pile. The machine-woven shaggy in polyester has plenty of it, soft enough to sit cross-legged for an hour with a puzzle. For children, a round pink rug in wool in front of the bed makes a warm spot of their own. Prefer natural fibre? Then take wool and accept that it sheds a little at first.
A bold living room
