Light blue, soft as a summer sky. Beside a cot this round rug creates a gentle play area. It looks dreamy.

The rug comes from a weaving mill in China, polyester pile on a cotton backing. With white and pale grey furniture it looks Scandinavian, and with sand coloured walls the blue turns warmer. When a baby starts to crawl, the long pile cushions the knees and makes the first explorations of the room a lot more comfortable.

Vacuum gently. Pale colours show fluff, so a quick round twice a week helps.
