White with a check pattern, plus a soft polyester feel. This shaggy rug is machine-woven in Turkey and has a jute back. The checks give the light surface structure, so it never looks empty. Beside a bed with white linen it feels fresh, and in a child's room it is the soft place where everyone wants to sit.

Does white get dirty quickly?

It shows marks sooner than dark colours. Blot spills right away with a dry cloth. Quick.

How do I vacuum a shaggy rug?

On a low setting and without the rotating brush, so the long strands do not tangle or get pulled out over time.
