Turquoise makes you think of water straight away. This round kelim brings the colour flat and plain onto the floor, with fringes around the edge, and because it can go in the washing machine at 30 °C you can leave it in a child's room or under the dining table without worrying.

It was woven by hand in India from pure cotton. With white and light wood the turquoise looks fresh. Summery.

Wash on a gentle cycle with mild detergent, spin lightly, then dry flat. No tumble dryer. On a smooth floor, a non slip underlay keeps it from sliding.
