The fibre is 80 % jute and 20 % cotton, woven by hand in India. A border frames the runner, and the felt backing with PVC dots holds it on the floor.
Wipe up spills quickly and keep the runner dry. A regular vacuum removes crumbs from the weave. Underfloor heating is fine. Keep it out of harsh sun for years on end, and the red will stay warm and rich in colour.
