Black in a bedroom sounds unusual at first. On light parquet beside a white bed, though, this checked runner looks clear and calm. It looks graphic. It looks modern. White linen looks crisp.

Strong lines

It is handwoven in India from pure wool, flat and firm. With white linen and black lamps it creates a modern, almost architectural look, and with warm wood it becomes a little softer and more homely.

Looking after black

Pale fluff shows on black, so vacuum often, without the beater bar. Dab spots with a damp cloth.
