One and a half metres across. A 150cm round rug (about 4ft 11in in diameter) fills a reading corner, sits by an armchair or in the middle of a child's room, and still doesn't dominate the space. Most designs in this size are wool, alongside jute and synthetic fibre.

Where a 150cm Round Rug Fits
Under a round coffee table of 60 to 80 cm, enough rug stays visible all round. Placed by an armchair, it leaves room for your feet and a side table. A child's room turns it into a play island. Beside the bed it works well when the bed stands against the wall and only one side is free.
Wool is springy, so dents from an armchair recover over time. Our round wool rugs show more circles in this material. A round jute rug in 150cm has a short or fuller pile, depending on the design. The fibre is firm and feels a little rough, and every diameter is collected under round jute rugs.
Will It Fit Under a Dining Table?
Hardly. The rug should reach about 60 cm beyond the table edge on every side, so chairs stay on it when pushed back. With 150cm that leaves room for a table of about 30 cm, which rules out almost every dining table.
The balcony is a different story. There, a round outdoor rug of 150cm in polypropylene can stay out.
Smaller or Larger
Not sure? Lay a piece of string in a circle on the floor and you will see straight away how much space is left. If 150cm feels too bulky, go for a 120cm round rug. A 160cm round rug gives you a little more surface. All diameters from 60cm to 300cm are among our round rugs.
Frequently asked questions
How many feet is 150cm?
About 4ft 11in across.
Can jute go in the bathroom?
No. Jute copes badly with moisture and isn't meant for a bathroom.
How do I vacuum a round high pile?
On a low setting and without the brush.
Will the outdoor one cope with rain?
Yes. Polypropylene absorbs hardly any water and dries quickly.
Which colours are there?
Cream and beige lead the way. Grey and light brown are there too, plus pink, red or blue for more colour, and even green or black.
