This jute runner is woven by hand in India from 80% jute and 20% cotton, with a felt back carrying PVC dots, and it has a sisal look. The main fibre takes up a lot of moisture, so bathrooms and other wet areas are no place for it. It feels firm and dry, much like jute rugs generally.
