White keeps a narrow hallway light, and the white Gabbeh Uni runner adds a soft strip of wool without darkening the floor. Its pile is 100% wool on a wool backing, woven by hand in India, and up close the warp and weft show as a fine texture. That pure wool makes it one of our wool rugs. White is calm.

Along a hallway, in front of a kitchen worktop or beside a bed, the white runner keeps a low profile with its short pile. Lengths can vary slightly with handwork, so check them when choosing the right size. Warm floors with underfloor heating are fine.

Dab spills at once with a light cloth, moving from the rim towards the centre without rubbing. New wool loses a few fibres to begin with, and our cleaning advice recommends regular vacuuming until that stops. White Uni runners with a raised thread need only a quick trim with scissors.
