Its pile is 60% acrylic and 40% polypropylene, machine woven in Turkey on a jute backing. Jacquard looms set the pattern with precise lines. Polypropylene is coloured right through as a fibre and takes up very little water, a plus for synthetic fibre rugs in a kitchen.
