Description
Breakfast in the kitchen, a toddler crawling about between the chairs, and the beige Amaya lies under the table through all of it. Mornings are busy.
Can the beige Amaya go in a kitchen?
Yes. A low pile rug sits close to the floor, and synthetic fibre takes up very little moisture, so a kitchen rug like this one is at home by the table or the units. A nursery or a living room suits the same beige rug, and underfloor heating is fine. Before you order, tape out the area and check it with our sizing tips.
What gives the Amaya its vintage look?
Jacquard machines in Turkey weave the pattern with precise lines, and the faded effect belongs to the design. So it sits comfortably with jaloom's vintage rugs. Its pile is 80% polypropylene and 20% polyester over a jute backing, which also places the Amaya among our synthetic fibre rugs.
How do I clean the beige Amaya?
Vacuuming with the brush head on is fine for the short pile of the Amaya, as our page on how to clean your rug explains. Keep hot pans and irons off it, and brush flattened spots back up. That covers most days.
