Grey is a forgiving colour next to other things in a room. It is a flat-woven cotton rug, soft and matt to the touch. The pile material is 100% cotton, with a cotton backing as well. Cotton takes dye well, which is why the grey reads as an even, quiet tone rather than a harsh one. Because the weave is flat, crumbs and hairs shake out easily and nothing catches in a deep pile.
