Plain, with a quiet boho feel: the Nele in taupe is a jute rug that lets the weave do the talking, and the shade stays calm. The colour sits between sand and soft brown, so it fits easily with white walls, pale oak or dark furniture.

Face and backing are 100% jute, handwoven in India on a loom. Jute is sometimes called the "golden fibre" because of its warm, brownish sheen, and you can see a little of that in the taupe shade. The surface feels firm and slightly textured underfoot rather than soft.

The rug is flat woven. Crumbs and hairs come off easily. It is also suitable for underfloor heating.
