Stripes run across the Lara in green, and the weave stays flat, so the pattern reads clearly from across the room. This jute rug is made of 80% jute and 20% cotton, with a jute and cotton backing. Jute has been nicknamed the golden fibre for its warm, brownish sheen, and the natural fibre shows its warmth in the weave. It feels firmer than wool underfoot.
