Warp and weft threads make up both the pattern and the structure here, so the surface is flat. Looking after the brown Azizi

Shake it out and vacuum lightly. Dab a spill from the outside in with lukewarm water, following the steps on how to clean your rug, then let it dry fully before furniture goes back on. Put a non-slip pad slightly smaller than the rug underneath to keep it flat. A quick pass with the vacuum keeps the Azizi looking tidy.
