Description
Cream viscose has a soft shine that shifts as you walk past it. On the plain Ava runner that sheen is the whole look, one even cream from one end to the other. Light from a window or a hall lamp moves across it.
What is the cream Ava runner made of?
Its pile is 100% viscose, a fibre made from cellulose that mostly comes from wood, and it sits on a cotton backing. Handwoven in India, it belongs with jaloom's Viscose Rugs and has the cool, smooth handle the fibre is known for. Handwork shows in small ways. Its length can vary slightly from the stated size, as with any hand woven rug.
Will the cream Ava suit a long or winding hall?
Yes. Laid one after the other, two of these hallway runners read as a single path, even where the hall turns a corner. This low pile rug stays close to the floor, so doors and feet pass over it easily. Tape the hall out first and compare it with our sizing tips, leaving some floor showing along the walls. Cream also lies happily over underfloor heating.
How do I clean the cream Ava runner?
Lift spills dry with an absorbent cloth, as our rug care tips for viscose describe, and press as little as possible. Underneath, an underlay cut slightly smaller than the runner stops it sliding on a smooth floor. Go over the cream pile with low suction, always in the direction of the pile.
