Dark brown viscose sits well next to oak floorboards, linen bedding and a brass lamp base. Two Ava runners in this shade, one on each side of the bed, give both sleepers a soft first step. This viscose rug is woven by hand in India, with a 100% viscose pile on a cotton backing, and it has the smooth feel of our Viscose Rugs.

Its short pile is plain and even. On laminate or tiles, lay it on an underlay so it stays put. Over underfloor heating, the dark brown Ava is fine as well. Check the space beside the bed against our help on choosing the right size, keeping in mind that a hand woven rug can vary a little in length.

With viscose, how to clean your rug comes down to dry methods and light suction along the pile. Should tea land on the dark brown Ava, lay an absorbent cloth on it, let the liquid soak in and lift the cloth away without pressing.
