This viscose rug has a pile of 100% viscose on a cotton backing, woven by hand in India. Like all our Viscose Rugs, it feels cool and smooth underfoot, with a soft, silk-like sheen that catches the light. Being handwoven, the red Ava can vary a little from its stated size, which is normal for a hand woven rug. Measure the hall first and use our advice on rug sizes to choose a length that keeps the doors clear.

Knowing how to clean your rug pays off with viscose, which loses strength when wet, so spills on the red Ava are lifted dry with an absorbent cloth and no pressure. Vacuum on a low setting, moving with the pile, and skip beating or brushing. Brushed the wrong way, viscose darkens.
