Dark grey is a calm backdrop for pale wood, white linen or a chunky knitted throw, which is why this Breeze shaggy rug suits a living room so well. In a nursery it adds a soft landing for bare feet, and next to the bed it makes a cosy bedroom rug.

The deep pile of the Breeze in dark grey is 100% polyester, and the backing is cotton. It's machine-woven in China and the plain colour keeps things quiet. It's fine over underfloor heating. Like our other Synthetic Fibre Rugs, the dark grey Breeze takes up hardly any moisture. It comes as a rectangle, ready to sit under a sofa or beside a bed.

Our guide to looking after your rug says to run the vacuum without the rotating brush and to comb the pile through with a wide-toothed comb every now and then so it doesn't mat. A rug grip underneath, slightly smaller than the rug, keeps the corners of the dark grey Breeze lying flat.
