Run your hand over the Breeze in green and the first thing you notice is how soft it is. The deep, dense pile is spun from polyester, and it feels soft and thick underfoot. This shaggy rug has a plain, single-colour surface, so all the interest comes from texture and a calm shade of green.

Green polyester on a cotton backing

The pile of the green Breeze is 100% polyester, and the backing is cotton. Machine weaving in China gives an even, consistent surface from edge to edge. Polyester takes up hardly any moisture, something the green Breeze has in common with our other synthetic fibre rugs, and it holds its colour well. This high-pile rug is rectangular, it comes in several sizes, so the size guide helps you pick one for your room.

Green underfoot in the living room, bedroom or nursery

Placed in a lounge, a plain green shag softens a sofa and a wooden floor at the same time. Beside a bed, you step onto something soft first thing in the morning. It also makes a soft kids room rug where there is space to sit and play. The Breeze is also available in beige, blue, cream, dark brown, dark grey and light blue. Because the surface is a single colour, it pairs easily with patterned cushions and throws, and it is suitable for use with underfloor heating.

Looking after your green Breeze

Vacuum with the brush bar switched off, and comb the pile through with a wide-toothed comb now and then so it does not mat. A non-slip pad cut slightly smaller than the rug stops it creeping and keeps the corners flat. Our guide on how to clean your rug says to dab spills straight away.
