Beige is the colour that gets along with everything, and on a long, narrow strip it quietly calms a bedroom floor. The Breeze runner is a soft beige shaggy rug cut for the space beside a bed, though like our other runner rugs it also works as a hallway runner.

The pile is 100% polyester on a cotton backing. Polyester takes in very little moisture, as with our other synthetic fibre rugs, so a splash of juice stays on the surface for a moment. Machine-woven in China, the Breeze in beige is plain, a single calm colour from end to end.

The beige runner by the bed or in a nursery

Laid alongside the bed, it gives your feet something soft to step onto first thing. Down on a nursery floor it makes a soft strip for sitting and playing, and its gentle neutral shade suits a kids' room. Warm floors with underfloor heating suit it too. How should I look after the Breeze in beige?

Turn it every so often so the pile wears evenly, comb it through with a wide-toothed comb, and keep water to a small amount on the shaggy pile, as our rug care page advises. A non-slip underlay, a little smaller than the rug itself, stops the runner creeping and the ends from curling.
