Kids sprawl on the floor, and a blue pile this deep makes the sprawling comfortable. The Breeze in blue is a shaggy rug with a long, soft surface that feels good under bare feet and gives a plain room a calm splash of colour.

The pile is 100% polyester, a synthetic fibre that takes up hardly any moisture, and the backing is cotton. Machine weaving in China keeps the plain blue even. The blue Breeze shares its polyester with many of our Synthetic Fibre Rugs.

Because it is square, the blue Breeze suits spots where a rectangle would feel awkward, as all our Square Rugs do. Think of a square room or a reading corner. With one low sofa and two armchairs it fits a living room well, and in a bedroom it sits nicely beside the bed or in a nook. In a nursery it makes a cosy play area for building blocks and picture books. Pick the format with our size guide once you know where in the room it will lie.

Underfloor heating below the Breeze is no problem. If the blue is not quite right, the same design comes in beige, cream, dark brown, dark grey and green.

Comb the pile out with a wide-toothed comb now and then so it does not mat, and lift any flattened patches by brushing against the lie, as our notes on looking after your rug suggest. When you vacuum, switch off the rotating brush.
