Plain cream, long pile, four equal sides. This shaggy rug in Cream is woven from 100% polyester, a fibre that feels soft and is colourfast. The backing is cotton, and the whole thing is machine-woven in China, so the surface looks even. The cream Breeze is a synthetic fibre rug with a long, soft pile.

A square shape suits a spot where a rectangle feels too long: a reading corner in the living room, the floor beside a bed, or a play area in a nursery. Breeze also comes in beige, blue, dark brown, dark grey and green, so you can pick the shade that suits your room. Laid in a child's room, the cream square becomes a soft kids room rug for floor play, and our rug size guide helps with choosing. This rug is suitable for use with underfloor heating.

Long pile needs a little care. Our guide on how to clean your rug recommends vacuuming with the brush roll switched off and going easy with water, and a non-slip pad slightly smaller than the rug keeps the corners down.
