Pale grey is easy to place, and a shaggy rug in that shade sits happily beside oatmeal knits, dark wood or a white sofa. Because the Breeze is square, it works in a reading corner or as a soft patch in the middle of a small room. Under a round side table, a square rug is a calm alternative. We also make this shaggy rug in beige, blue, cream, dark brown, dark grey and green.

The pile is 100% polyester, the backing is cotton, and it is machine woven in China. Polyester has a soft hand and holds its colour well. This model is also fine over underfloor heating. In the bedroom, the kids' room or a living room corner, it suits spots where you sit, play or step out of bed in bare feet. Sizes are covered in our sizing tips, and the Synthetic Fibre Rugs collection shows similar fibres.

Run the vacuum without the rotating brush, and comb the pile through now and then so it stays fluffy. If a patch goes flat, brush it up against the lie of the fibres. There is more in our rug care tips.
