Beside the bed, where your feet land first each morning, this cream runner gives you soft wool instead of cold boards. It works as a hallway runner too, with a Tabriz Mahi pattern in the Persian style.

Its pile is 100% handspun wool, knotted by hand in India onto a wool foundation, so the yarn looks a touch irregular. Wool is slow to catch fire and does not melt. Heated floors are fine. Like every one of our Wool Rugs, it can differ slightly from its stated size because it is made by hand, and a pair either side of the bed fits in well with jaloom's Runner Rugs.

Turn the cream runner round from time to time so sunlight and footsteps spread evenly. A slightly smaller anti-slip mat stops it creeping, as our rug care tips point out. Once in a while, beat it from the back and give it some fresh air.
