What is this beige check rug made from?

100% polypropylene makes up the pile, a synthetic fibre that takes very little water, and the backing is jute. Machine-woven in Turkey, it has a flat weave, so there is no deep pile for chair legs to catch on. The colour is a calm sandy beige with a checkerboard pattern.

Can the round Boho go outside?

Yes, this is an outdoor rug as well as an indoor one, so it can sit under the patio furniture, with the pieces standing on it. Damp air on a patio does little harm to polypropylene. The one thing to avoid is heat, so keep hot pans and the iron away from it. Suitable for underfloor heating, it works in a dining room or lounge. How do I keep the beige circle tidy?

Spills stay on the surface for a while, so there is time to blot with a cloth. After that, a little mild detergent in water and a final dab with clean water will usually finish the job, as described in our guide to looking after your rug. If the pile gets pressed down, a brush will lift it again.
