Cream is easy to place and sits happily next to light sofas and wooden floors alike. The Deja in Cream is a round rug with a woven pattern, flat woven so the surface stays calm and level. Set it in a lounge or under a small table and it gives the corner a soft centre. In front of a pale sofa it makes a light living room rug, and the same design also comes in dark blue and as a runner.

Made of 100% polypropylene on a jute back, woven by machine in Turkey on a Jacquard loom, which is why the lines of the pattern come out so crisp and even. The fibre is a synthetic one, so this round rug works indoors and out, and it suits underfloor heating. Being a flatweave in synthetic fibre, it lies smooth on the floor. Not sure which size suits your seating area? Mark it with masking tape and find the right fit before you order.

Polypropylene takes on hardly any water, so a spill gives you time to blot, then work over it with some mildly soapy water and dab with clean water, as our rug care tips describe. Heat is the only real enemy here, so keep hot pans away, and a brush will lift any flattened weave.
