Description
Light grey, heathered with paler and darker threads, sits well with white kitchens, black metal chairs and pale oak. The Calo in this shade keeps a room bright.
How much wool is in the light grey Calo?
Its blend is 70% wool and 30% polyester, on a wool backing. Weavers in India made it by hand on a loom. That wool share puts it alongside our Wool Rugs, and like any handwoven piece it can vary a little from its stated size.
Does the light grey Calo suit a dining room?
Yes, as long as it is big enough. With the chairs pulled back, their legs should still be on the rug, and our sizing tips show how to measure for that. On wooden or tiled floors, put an underlay under it so it stays flat. Light grey Calo sits among our Dining Room Rugs and also suits a lounge or a bedroom, with a short pile that lies low. Over underfloor heating, the Calo is fine as well.
How often should the light grey Calo be turned?
Turn it now and then so sunlight and footsteps spread across the whole rug. On a smooth floor, keep an underlay a little smaller than the rug beneath it. Beating it from the back and airing it outside are the basics of how to clean your rug in wool. A plain carpet beater does that job for the light grey Calo.
