Hand-tufted microfibre in light grey

This tufted rug is made in India. A hand-guided tufting tool pushes the yarn through a base fabric, and the back is then covered with cotton. All 100% polyester microfibre, the light grey yarn is spun very fine, which is why it feels so soft underfoot. Polyester also holds its colour well, so the grey stays even, as it does across our Synthetic Fibre Rugs in the same material.

Looking after the light grey Silky

Spills stay on the surface of polyester for a while, so you have time to blot with a clean cloth and only a little water. Our notes on looking after your rug suggest combing the shaggy pile with a wide-toothed comb so it doesn't mat. Brush any flattened patches against the pile, and turn the rug now and then. Vacuum without the rotating brush.
