Brown is a calm choice for a living room, and a circle softens the straight lines of sofa, shelves and window frames. Silky in brown does exactly that, in front of an armchair or under a coffee table. Round in shape, it also gives a bedroom or a corner of the nursery its own little island.

• Pile: 100% polyester microfibre
• Backing: cotton
• Hand-tufted in India
• Shaggy high pile, plain brown
• Suitable for underfloor heating

Microfibre simply means polyester yarn spun very fine, and that is why this one feels so soft underfoot. Because the Silky is tufted by hand, the surface can look a little lighter or darker depending on the light and the direction of the pile. For the living room and bedroom, the brown circle shares its soft polyester with our Synthetic Fibre Rugs collection. A round rug makes a lovely play island in a nursery, so it also fits well among our Kids Room Rugs.

Combing through the round brown Silky

Spilt drinks stay on top of the polyester for a while, so you have time to blot, and the long pile wants as little water as possible. Our rug care tips suggest a wide-toothed comb now and then so the brown pile doesn't mat. If the pile gets flattened, brush it against the pile and it lifts again. Vacuum without the rotating brush.
