Will the round cream Silky work in a bedroom or nursery?

Yes. Beside a bed it gives a soft circle to step onto, and in a nursery or another children's room it becomes a spot for sitting on the floor. It also works as one of our living room rugs. A circle is easy to misjudge, so mark it out with masking tape and hold it against our advice on rug sizes.

How is the cream Silky round rug made?

By hand, in India. The 100% polyester microfibre pile is tufted into a cotton backing with a hand-held tool, and the back is then covered. Synthetic fibre takes up very little moisture. Like our synthetic fibre rugs in general, the Silky can go over underfloor heating. Being hand-tufted, the circle may differ slightly from its listed size.

How do I clean the cream Silky circle rug?

Liquid stays on top of the pile for a moment, so blot it quickly, then dab sparingly with a little mild soapy water. Under the rug, an underlay with grip, a bit smaller than the circle, stops it sliding, and the rug care tips show how to comb the shaggy pile so it doesn't mat. Vacuum the Silky with the rotating brush switched off.
