Light grey wool feels soft and dry underfoot. The Gabbeh Lola keeps its colour plain, so the texture of the wool shows. Short pile keeps this low pile rug flat in a lounge, a bedroom or under the dining table, where it joins jaloom's Dining Room Rugs. It can lie over underfloor heating, and on smooth floors it needs an underlay. Pick its size with the size guide, allowing for slight variation in a handwoven piece.

Woven by hand in India in the gabbeh style, it has a 100% wool pile on a wool backing. New wool drops a few loose fibres at the start, which fade with vacuuming. It belongs with our Wool Rugs.

Caring for the light grey Lola, as the rug care tips describe, comes down to turning it now and then and keeping an underlay beneath it. To freshen the light grey Lola, hang it over a rail, beat it from the back and let it air outside for a while.
