Sunny yellow wool looks warm before you even touch it. Under bare feet the Gabbeh Lola is soft and dry.

Plain yellow with a short pile, this low pile rug brightens a lounge, a bedroom or a dining room. Beside the bed it is one of our Bedroom Rugs. At a dining table, choose it big enough that pulled-back chairs stay on it, and check the size guide before you order. On smooth floors, the yellow Lola stays put on an underlay. Yellow Lola can lie over underfloor heating too.

Woven by hand in India, the yellow Lola has a 100% wool pile on a wool backing and follows the style of gabbeh rugs. That makes it one of our Wool Rugs. Handmade pieces can be slightly larger or smaller than stated.

The care guide for wool recommends turning the yellow Lola now and then so sun and footsteps spread evenly, with an underlay a little smaller than the rug beneath it. Should orange juice land on it, dab with a pale cloth from the outside in, without rubbing.
