Description
A solid black circle on a pale floor is a strong graphic shape, and the round Gabbeh Lola keeps it simple with one even colour. Nothing distracts from the outline.
What is the black round Lola made from?
Wool, all of it. Pile and backing are 100% wool, the fibre sheep grow as fleece, and warp and weft are crossed by hand in India to give the round wool rug its structure. That places it among jaloom's wool rugs.
Where does a black circle rug look right?
Against light walls in a lounge, it marks out the seating area in front of the sofa, one of the bolder living room rugs we have. Beside the bed it holds its own among bedroom rugs, and its short pile suits underfloor heating. Handmade sizes can vary a little, so our sizing tips help you choose how far it should reach around the furniture.
How do I treat a spill on the black Lola?
Blot it right away with a light cloth, the first step in how to clean your rug made of wool, and work from the outside in without rubbing. Loose fibres from the early weeks clear with regular vacuuming. On a smooth floor, slide an underlay a little smaller than the rug underneath so it can't creep.
