Description
Grey goes with almost everything in a hall, from white doors to black floor tiles. The Sina runner in grey is pure wool, the natural fibre from sheep, tufted by hand in India on a cotton backing, which places it among our wool rugs. Every strand of yarn goes in by hand with a tufting tool, and fabric then covers the back.
Its pile sits low. Seen from the front door, the grey can look a shade darker than from the other end, because light catches the pile differently. It suits underfloor heating and works as a hallway runner or beside the bed. Among our runner rugs it covers both jobs, and our advice on rug sizes helps you pick the length.
Trim loose yarn ends with scissors rather than pulling them. Dents from a hall table usually lift again with a little water, as our rug care tips show for wool. Beat the grey runner from the back every so often, preferably outdoors.
