Soft and matt, this mauve runner is a flat-woven cotton rug. Each Chindi runner is woven on a handloom in India from strips of fabric cut from textile offcuts, so the colour spreads differently in every piece.

Lay the Mauve in front of the worktop and it works as a kitchen runner. Beside a bed or in a child's room it does just as well. Kept free of furniture, it makes a quiet hallway runner that lies flat like any of our runner rugs. Caring for the Mauve

Dab small marks with cold water and a mild detergent, then let the runner dry through properly. Wash it on its own at 30 °C and dry the runner flat afterwards. Give the Mauve a quick shake now and then, and turn it over from time to time.
