Description
Pair the orange Kelim Chindi Uni runner with dark green tiles, a teak bench or crisp white bedding and it warms the whole scene.
What is the orange Chindi Uni runner made of?
Pure cotton, woven by hand in India on a handloom. Chindi rugs are traditionally woven from strips of fabric, so each one varies slightly in tone. The weave is 100% cotton with a fringe at each end. Like the rest of jaloom's cotton rugs, it can go over underfloor heating, and being handwoven, it may differ a little in size.
Which rooms suit the orange Chindi Uni runner?
Kitchens, first of all, where it runs along the worktop as a kitchen runner. Beside a bed it gives a warm first step. The long shape also works as a hallway runner, and bright colour suits a child's room, so it is listed with jaloom's kids room rugs. Mark the length out with masking tape before choosing the right size.
Can the orange runner go in the washing machine?
Yes. A 30 °C machine wash with the runner alone in the drum, followed by drying it flat, is all the orange one needs when it gets grubby. Keep it out of the tumble dryer.
How do I clean the orange runner between washes?
Our cleaning advice suggests a light vacuum and a shake for this runner. Small marks come off with cold water and a mild cleaner, and the cotton should dry fully afterwards. Crumbs shake out easily from the flat weave.
