As a cotton rug, the purple Kelim Chindi stays light and easy to shift, which suits a bedroom, a children's room or the stretch in front of the kitchen units. Because the weave is flat, it also works as a hallway runner, where it frames the walkway. Leave a little bare floor at the wall and in front of doors so they swing freely. Running a vacuum lightly over it and shaking it out is usually enough. For a small mark, dab with cold water and a mild detergent; looking after your rug covers the details.
