A wool rug that goes in the washing machine

The pile is 100% wool, handwoven in India. Even so, the Lia can be machine washed, which is unusual for wool. In a kitchen or a kids' room, where food ends up on the floor, that takes away a lot of worry. It sits alongside our other washable rugs.

Living room or bedroom

Washing the taupe Lia

Wash it on its own on a wool cycle with a wool detergent, following the label. Dry it flat and never in a tumble dryer. Between washes a vacuum is enough, as our rug care tips explain.
