Woven by hand in India on a loom, it has no pile at all. The surface is made from 100% recycled cotton, and the backing is cotton too. Because the cotton is made from textile offcuts, the colour in the stripes can vary a little from one part of the rug to the next. Along a hallway, a runner like this frames the way through. Keep a strip of bare floor by the wall and in front of doors, so nothing stops them swinging open. The blue also comes with siblings in beige, brown, yellow, grey and green if you would like to mix tones. For length and width, finding the right fit is easy to work through with a bit of masking tape on the floor.
