The Bidjar is a low pile rug, which keeps the design crisp and makes it easy to walk on. Pile and backing are both wool (the pile is 100% wool), and every knot was tied by hand in India. Because of that, small differences in the cream tone are normal. Wool is a natural fibre from sheep, with a springy crimp that holds its shape well. Looking after your cream Bidjar

Blot spills with a pale cloth, working from the edge inwards, and never rub, as our guide to looking after your rug explains. A few loose fibres at the start are normal, and regular vacuuming clears them; snip any stray thread rather than pulling it. Cream can show marks, so deal with spills quickly.
