The yellow Chindi Uni in cotton

This cotton rug is 100% cotton, woven by hand in India, and the flat weave keeps it light. Like our cotton rugs in general, it is fine over underfloor heating, though as a handwoven piece it can vary slightly in size. Being a washable rug, the yellow Chindi Uni can go through a 30 °C wash by itself when it needs a proper clean, after which it dries lying flat rather than in a dryer.

A yellow rug for the living room or kitchen

In the living room, lay it so at least the front feet of the sofa and armchairs stand on it, and the seating comes together as a group. Mark it out with masking tape and check our sizing tips first. Spot cleaning the yellow Chindi Uni

Small stains, as how to clean your rug explains, are dabbed with cold water and a mild cleaner. Let it dry thoroughly before you walk on it again. For a drop of orange juice, dab from the outside of the mark inwards with a damp cloth.
