Orange is a warm colour to have underfoot at breakfast time, especially when the floor is cold tiles. This Kelim Azizi runner brings that colour in a long, narrow shape, patterned and flat, so it suits a spot in front of the worktop.

The weave is where it gets interesting. Front and backing are both 100% cotton, woven by hand on a loom in India. A cotton rug like this is soft to the touch and light enough to lift, and being flat it shakes out easily, crumbs and hair included.
