Against a pale linen sofa and a glass coffee table, a black circle makes a strong contrast. The Ava does exactly that.

Plain black with a short pile, this round rug lies low in a living room or under a round dining table. Black Ava can lie over underfloor heating. Used in a children's room, a circle like this becomes a play island where toys gather. Choose the diameter with our tips on choosing the right size.

The circle is 100% viscose on a cotton backing, woven by hand in India, and viscose is made from wood cellulose, which gives the black its silky gleam. Handmade pieces like this can vary slightly from the stated size. Round and black, it joins our Round Rugs with the gleam of our Viscose Rugs.

Water can leave rings or dull spots on black viscose, so stubborn stains go to a specialist cleaner. Lay it away from the busiest walkways, and as our rug care tips say, never beat or brush it. Black Ava pile turns darker if brushed against its direction.
