Walk over the dark grey Lola barefoot and the wool feels soft and warm. Pure wool has that dry, natural handle.

Dark grey Gabbeh Lola under the dining table

Plain dark grey with a short pile, this low pile rug lies flat under a table. Choose it large enough that the chairs stay on it when pulled back, using the size guide. Dark grey Lola fits in with our Dining Room Rugs, and it suits a lounge or bedroom just as well. Dark grey Lola can go over underfloor heating as well.

Handwoven wool in the dark grey Lola

Its pile is 100% wool on a wool backing, woven by hand in India in the style of gabbeh rugs. The wool of the dark grey Lola resists flame and will not melt. Being handmade, it can vary slightly from its stated size, and it sits with our other Wool Rugs.

Spills and shedding on the dark grey Lola

New wool lets go of loose fibres for a while, and they settle as you vacuum. An underlay a little smaller than the rug stops it sliding, one of the rug care tips for smooth floors. Spills need nothing more than a pale cloth, dabbed from the edge towards the middle without rubbing.
